Industries We Serve

The Industrial Efficiency Alliance is focused on two vertical markets, food processing and pulp and paper, where it helps create efficiencies with the following industrial systems: compressed air, pumps, motors, and refrigeration.

Food Processing

Through a strategic partnership with the Northwest Food Processors Association (NWFPA), the Industrial Efficiency Alliance is interested in working with companies that want to improve their energy management practices. Potential benefits to participating companies include increased profitability, lower maintenance and supply costs, higher production yields, and reduced down time. A variety of supporting services and resources, including training, best practices, and coordination with other energy efficiency programs is available to companies that make an organizational commitment.

Pulp and Paper

Excluding aluminum, pulp and paper is the largest energy user in the Northwest. The Industrial Efficiency Alliance wants to work with pulp and paper companies that are interested in taking a continuous improvement approach to energy management. The benefits of this approach can include increased productivity, reduced supply and maintenance costs, increased product yield, increased up time, and increased profitability. For companies interested in making an organizational commitment to energy efficiency, the Industrial Efficiency Alliance provides a variety of supporting services and resources, including training, best practices, and coordination with other energy efficiency programs.

How We Work

The Industrial Efficiency Alliance is especially designed to meet the specific needs of industries throughout the Northwest.

When an organization wants to learn more about energy efficiency, the Industrial Efficiency Alliance will provide an energy management practices assessment and help craft a continuous energy improvement program. Once those are underway, the Industrial Efficiency Alliance is equipped to assist organizations in implementing and measuring the effectiveness of plans.
